1. Life-Saving Techniques (LST) 1.1: Pool Lifeguards (LST-P) Duration : 6 days Course fees : Rs. 5000/- Aim : Mandatory certification training for swimming pool life-guarding as per Safety Norms of Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India. Pre-requisite : Swimming ability- minimum 100 meters in 2 minutes and passing in all modules Certification : Photo certificate valid for 4 years Modules (indicative) : 1). Communication signals, 2). Front drive, Rear Huggie, two-guard rescue, 3). Duck pluck, deep pool rescue, 4). On-water rescue techniques using ''rectangular rescue tube'), 5) First Aid, 6) CPR on electronic simulator dummy. 1.2: Watersport Operators (LST-WS) Duration : 5 days Course fees : Rs. 4000/- Aim : Mandatory certification training for all types of watersport operators as per Safety Norms of Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India. Pre-requisite : Swimming ability- minimum 100 meters in 3 minutes and passing in all modules Certification : Photo certificate valid for 4 years Modules (indicative) : 1). Communication signals, 2). Pre-requisite : Swimming ability- minimum 100 meters in 2 minutes and passing in all modules Certification : Photo certificate valid for 4 years Modules (indicative): 1). Communication signals, 2). 2. Surf Life-Saving Techniques For Beach Lifeguards (SLST)
2.1: Silver Certification (SLST-S) Duration : 12 days Course fees : Rs. 12000/- Aim : Mandatory certification training for beach life-guarding as per Safety Norms of Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India. Pre-requisite : A). Completing 400 mtr. Swim in 09 mts. or less in swimming pool. B). Run-swim-run: 200 mts. run through surf- swim 100 mts then through surf and swim back 100 mts.- further run of 200 mts. within 11 mts. Certification : Photo certificate valid for 3 years. Modules(indicative): 1). Communication signals, 2). Surf awareness, 3). Rescue techniques, use of ''rectangular rescue tube' and rescue board, 4). Managing casualty- carriage, First Aid, CPR on electronic simulator dummy etc., 5). Knots, 6). Deployment of lifeguards. 2.2: Gold Certification (SLST-G) Duration : 06 days Course fees : Rs. 5000/- Aim : Higher-level certification training for beach life-guarding as per Safety Norms of Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India. Pre-requisite : A). Holding valid license in SLST- Silver B). Completing 800 mtr. Swim in 14 mts. or less in swimming pool C). Run-swim-run: Same as Silver certification. Distance of 1600 mts. to be completed in 07 mts. Certification : Photo certificate valid for 3 years Modules (indicative): 1). Rescue using boat, 2). Beach patrolling and operations, 3). Use of two-way radio, 4). Advance First Aid, CPR on electronic simulator dummy etc.



3. Power Boat Handling (PBH)
3.1: Tiller Controlled Powerboat Handling ( PBH-T/LEVEL-II ) Duration : 05 days Course fees : Rs. 4000/- Aim : Mandatory certification training for boat drivers for low-power tiller controlled power boats as per safety norms of Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India Prerequisite : Holding valid license in LST-WS Certification : Photo certificate valid for 04 years Modules (indicative): (1) Front line maintenance of OBM (2) Safety (3) Rules of the road (4) Boat handling practical (5) Preparation of boat, fuel, OBM, safety & practical. 3.2: Remote Control Powerboat Handling (PBH-R/LEVEL-III) Duration : 4 days Course fees : Rs 5000/- Aim : Mandatory certification training for boat drivers for remote-controlled power boats. Prerequisite : Holding license in LST-WS & PBH-T certification Certification : Photo certificate valid for 04 years Modules (indicative): 1) Difference between tiller and remote control boats, 2). Front line maintenance of high powered OBM, 3) Boat handling practical, 4) Safely operating practices.



4. PWC/ Jet Ski Conversion Duration : 4 days Course fees : 5000/- Aim : Certify to handle PWC/Jet Ski Requirement : Valid license holder of LST and PBH and preferably with one year operational experience Certification : Card certificate valid for 4 years Modules (indicative): 1) Jet Ski engine (Basics), 2). Preparation, 3). Operational procedure, 2) Operations Safety. 5. Parasail Operation/ Parasail Conversion Duration : 4 days Course fees : Rs. 5500/- Aim : To certify the experienced PBH certificate holder to operate the Parasail. Requirement : Valid license holder of LST and PBH and preferably with one year operational experience Certification : Card certificate valid for 4 years Modules (indicative): 1) Beach & Winch parasailing operations with practical, 2) Details of special parasailing chutes, 3) Safety & precautions in parasailing. 6. Outboard Boat Maintenance (6.A ) OBM Maintenance-Basic (2stroke) Duration : 5 days Course fees : Rs 4000/- Aim : Basic training in maintenance of outboard motor Certification : Certificate Modules (indicative): 1) Block diagrams of main systems, 2) Front line maintenance, 3) Trouble shooting, 4) Dismantling & assembling of components. (6.B ) OBM Maintenance-Advanced ( 4stroke) Duration : 5 days Course fee : Rs. 4000/- Aim : Advance training in maintenance of high powered remote controlled OBM Pre-requisite : Basic OBM Maintenance Modules (indicative): Same as above but for higher powered OBM and more technical details.
